During a webinar last week presented by Craig DeVoe, RVP of Blackboard Mobile, and hosted by Campus Technology, Craig outlined the changing atmosphere of campus life. These changes are being led by an increase in non-traditional students, typically defined as working full time, having dependents or being a single parent, delaying enrollment, or not having a High School diploma. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, this group makes up 73% of students on U.S. campuses.
Blackboard Mobile is fast becoming the go-to resource on campus for these non-traditional students, providing access to essential course content like grades, discussion boards and blogs, while students are on the go. Check out the full webinar and see how Blackboard Mobile is helping this growing community stay connected.
