A Native Approach

As the head of iOS development, my top priority is providing our users with apps that are incredibly useful, yet effortless to use. There is no prouder example of this effort than our Blackboard Mobile™ Central product - a tightly integrated suite of modules that work together to put your university into the hands of its community via a single cohesive application. One of the flagship modules of Mobile Central is the Courses module. The Courses module is a great way for students to browse courses and plan their education. But it also solves students' practical concerns, like where they can find their class, or how they can get in touch with their professor. This is possible because the Courses module enjoys the benefit of Mobile Central as an ecosystem. It can rely on the Maps module to quickly point the student in the right direction, and the Directory module to easily add a faculty email address or phone number to their address book.
