About the Mobile Garage

Welcome to The Mobile Garage, a blog from the team of developers that make up Blackboard Mobile–the group within Blackboard Inc. responsible for driving the company's mobile education strategies. At Mobile Garage, we'll be sharing information about the work we're doing with institutions around the globe to create customized, mobile experiences for students, faculty and communities at large. We'll also be sharing updates on some of our ideas, adventures, and thoughts on broader trends and developments in the mobile world. Contributions for this blog come from our team, led by Kayvon Beykpour, Aaron Wasserman, and a group of others that founded a startup company called TerriblyClever and created iStanford, a first of its kind iPhone application for higher education. Mobile Garage will also be home to posts from other colleagues at Blackboard, leaders at institutions we're working with, and other folks. We hope to hear from you here, too!
